Animation and Movies
Little League Commercial (School Project)
For this class project, I needed to make a longer commercial that connected with the intended audience. I chose to create the video for Little League baseball. The video opens with a quiet shot of an empty dugout and field, setting the stage before the action starts. From there, I used dramatic visuals, tight preparation shots, and slow-motion moments to build the story. Every scene was designed to feel real and relatable, showing why baseball is more than just a game for so many kids. The final piece is a lively tribute to the spirit and legacy of the game.
Kid Robotics Ident for Youtube
This personal project was a chance to have fun with character animation and motion design. I created a channel ident starring a playful robot who flies in, waves to the audience, and bursts off screen before making a close-up return. When he lands, the channel’s name pops up, with the robot’s eyes replacing the O’s in the text for a quirky, memorable touch. After a final wave, the animation transitions smoothly into the main video. The idea was to build something full of energy and personality.
Ya Basic (Music Video)
For this school project, I created a playful fall-themed video that turns a classic pumpkin spice obsession into a full-blown love story with a twist. Set to Taylor Swift’s “Trouble,” it follows a girl who flirts with, dates, and ultimately betrays a pumpkin (yes, an actual pumpkin with a drawn-on face). This project was all about having fun with storytelling, exaggerating seasonal clichés, and not taking things too seriously.
Jacko and Christmas music (Sprite Animation)
This school project was a short sprite animation starring Jacko, an anthropomorphic jack-o’-lantern who has seriously hates Christmas music. Using sprites from GameArt2D, I brought Jacko to life as he reacts to holiday tunes echoing through October air. This project gave me the chance to work on timing and humor in animation.
